$50 feeds one person for 2 weeks
$100 feeds a family for a month
$300 feeds a family for 3 months
Our Immigrant Food Project has already begun and the first gift certificates are being distributed as you read this.
Our construction companies have been blessed that most are still working. Let's be generous and help those who are struggling to cover basic expenses and have nowhere to go for help.
We have raised $3,000 over the past week and have another $3.5 committed. Our goal is to feed 100 families for 3 months, so we still have a ways to go.
PLEASE HELP US FEED THESE FAMILIES IN DC

Hispanic Contractors Sponsor Immigrant Food Project
Our Association in collaboration with Latinas USA, PPE Response, Results One and ACSI is providing gift certificates from Giant Food to needy immigrant families in Washington DC.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 to provide food for 100 families over the next 3 months ($300 in gift certificates per family). We shall provide $50 Giant Food gift certificates every 2 weeks over a 12 week period for a total of $300 per family that can be used to buy food products at Giant Food stores in the District. Giant is providing favorable terms for the purchase of these certificates so they make a difference in the lives of our folks.
There is a contribution link on the flyer you can follow or you may contact us @:

Our members are committed to raising sufficient funds and supporting this program. The donation is tax deductable and we'll be notifying the press regarding progress distributing the cards and publicize those companies who contribute both now by newsletters, social media and emails and in the future at one of our live events.
This is a program our association believes it can best handle and make a real difference within our community. Although slowed and reduced, many construction companies still have work. We're attempting to harness our good fortune to the well being of our constituent community. Please help us out!
