DC Metro Hispanic Contractors Assoc. together with Chata Bernal of Better Business Consulting and the Flory Center of Prince William's County celebrated a remarkable construction workshop (first of its kind for the Hispanic community in that area) on Thursday, July 21 at the VFW Post in Manassas.
Alberto Gomez began with a Spanish language presentation on how to create your own construction firm, Delegate Alfonso Lopez gave a comprehensive presentation on what the state of Va. does to support its small businesses and Mike Garcia in an emotional speech explained how it is that he has become one of the most successful builders in PWC. Mr. Wade Hugh opened the doors to the PWC regulatory system and Cary Brown of TURNER CONSTRUCTION was superb in letting these small businesses know what it takes to work for them.
DC Metro HCA members from Prince Construction, Jose Reyes from Cabling System and a representative of Alejandro Sanguinetti's Lofft Construction were present as examples of successful businesspersons. Thank you Linda Decker form the Flory Center and everyone who participated in this highly successful event.
